The Bharatiya Janata Party will challenge on 17 seats in Bihar, while Public Majority rule Coalition (NDA) partner Janata Dal (Joined together) will challenge on 16 seats.

Lok Janshakti Party (Smash Vilas), headed by Chirag Paswan, will challenge on five seats.
"BJP will challenge on 17 seats, JDU on 16 seats, LJP (Smash Vilas) on 5 seats, Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha on one seat each..." Tawde was cited by ANI as saying.
"Five seats have been given to Lok Janshakti Party (Smash Vilas). We will win every one of the 40 Lok Sabha seats of Bihar," said Raju Tiwari, Bihar State President, Lok Janshakti Party (Slam Vilas) at the preparation.
JD(U) drove by Nitish Kumar, had gotten back to the NDA prior in January, year and a half after the Bihar boss clergyman had held hands with Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal.
At a NDA rally in Aurangabad recently which was gone to by State leader Narendra Modi, Kumar proclaimed he will 'remain always' in the NDA.
"...You (PM Modi) had come prior also, 'standard idhar murmur gayab ho gaye the. Murmur phir aapke saath hai (I vanished (from NDA) for quite a while yet presently I'm with you). I guarantee you that I won't go to a great extent. 'Murmur rahenge aap greetings ke saath'...," Kumar had said.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha races, the BJP and JD(U) had challenged decisions on 17 seats each. The NDA had won 39 out of 40 seats in the state. Notwithstanding, Kumar had broken attaches with the BJP in 2022 to run an administration with the RJD momentarily.
Surveying in Bihar will be held in seven stages on April 19, 26, May 7, 13, 20, 25 and June 1, the Political race Commission declared on Saturday. The counting of votes will occur on June 4.
